Snow falls outside our window.
Cars slip and slide down the road outside our house.
It is January. No school today.
I am eight.
Mom just made snow ice cream.
Glistening crystalized,
The sights of the powdery white,
The eternal negative degrees,
Hoping the following day to be off,
Ensuring all goes nicely on this magnificent day,
