Dearest Teller of Time,
Why do I continue to carry you throughout the day?
You do not forget,
You do not forgive--
never pausing for me...constantly impatient.
The air I breathe,
The things I see,
They make me tick.
The scents I smmell,
The places I go,
They make me tock.
Tick tock goes the clock,
As the time of life passes.
Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock
As I press the needle into the skin,
I am reminded of what could have been.
Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock
