For years I'd been alone.
They'd scorned me while I raised my flag,
Spitting venom and curses,
All because I loved my own gender.
Trapped for years in the darkness,
I'd stumbled into you,
Skin like silk caresses mine.
Warm breathe licks at my neck like a teasing wind.
I inhale the scent of your soft wavy hair,
as it cascades down over your shoulders.
Your lips, rosey pink, inch closer to mine.
