Today another tragedy in the news,
Senseless violence from people with nothing to lose.
Never once thinking about the destruction and pain,
Instead only focused on placing the blame.
We didn't understand at first
The roar that shook the earth,
The roar that would tear screams from our throats
And shake the fear slumbering in our souls,
