I spent the day reading the Kaddish and I keep
staring down at my palms- those lines that remind me of the grooves of my grandfather’s face-
Hit the floor running, that's what they say
But there's only so far you can run
In this bricked up place with these
tiled floors filled with sickness, sad-
ness, and sterilization. But that's why I'm here:
Skipping lines and skipping parts
Do you know wherethebegginingstarts
Feel the constant beating of your heart.
Then all of a sudden.
It falls apart
