It's confusing being mixed.What I look like, and my experiences,they don't line up with a typical anything.I am not European-American,I am not Puerto Rican,I am an amalgamation of these things, and more.
My curls showed my story I was never a mixed child But my skin was lighter than the rest of the girls And my curls couldn’t shine brighter They’d get on my nerves
My light skin and colored eyesguarantee me a place in society.They also provide amistaken identity.  
Something need to change something needs to change When did we start are hating selfs
