It is easier to catch your breath
On the top of Mount Everest.
Then it is to breathe in these shunned places.
Newtown Florida is like a welcome matt
Compared to Dayton Ohio.
Death, Destruction, Devastation
Death is king and now his crown
Destruction sits with Devastation
Resting just above his brow
As he slowly clinched his fist
Death, destruction, first on list
We are never true among anyone nor ourselves
Yet we keep living as if everything is fine
Why do we act as someone that isn't true
Though what is truth
By our terms it is what's right and just
