I know who I am
And I know who I’m becoming
Someone unafraid
Unafraid of what people think
Unafraid of the actions I do
Just unafraid
I find her ivory skin
and enticing grin
far too consuming
to resist.
She finds late eves
as moments of peace
betwixt my fuming
of nicotinic mist.
And the laughter from her heart—
You’ll never reach
Your fiftieth wedding anniversary
Your fortieth birthday
I won’t be able to tease you
About being “over the hill.”
You’ll never go to
Your thirtieth high school reunion
I smile in hope they will stop staring.
I smile in hope that they will see the beauty I see when I look in the mirror.
I smile in hope to make someone's day.
Some people love chocolate, sugar, and cakes
But I must say that I love dates!
Icecream, coco and peppermint
don`t satify me, no not one bit.
surly if I am healthy,
I also will be wealthy.
the first night you lent me your jacket
we shared a taco,
and later a kiss
next time i was sick
our bodies intertwined
and then so did our lips
that's when i fell
