It’s open mic night at the bar, and
there are twenty poets performing.
The poets meet in the back alley
A dull murmur in the classroom
Hushed whispers of delight
Flashes of color and Action on screen
That's what happens when the club meets
Voices screaming, singing, laughing
The audience overeacting
Started in high school,
thought DECA was real cool
a business club just for me
and the club was completely free
wanted to contine in college
but against my knowledge,
my school doesn't have a DECA
