Never really seen
Athletic Trainers are the backbone
Of the whole teamWe wrap hurt wrists and anklesWe cover up your cuts
No matter how much pain you're in
My backbone was my strength.
Small and frail.
When expecting so much to carry
I break.
Asking why they examine and reconstruct.
to make me stronger.
only to move and replace the same bone.
