Once upon a time, Cinderella was presented to love at first sight.
Unfair.
Her prince looked for her, and he found her.
Unfair.
What if... Cinderella was never found.
Do you know the sound of a heart breaking?
The barely audible whisper of glass cracking,
How do I know it well like a lover's voice?
For mine is broken constantly without choice.
Hear his voice caress another's ear,
My heart is across the room
Unreachable, he avoids me
Sprints away when i'm close
"Come back!" is futile
He's afraid of me
Buried in my transgressions
Burdened by my sins
Stuck in such gloom
