Because I miss you,
I’ve cried myself to sleep,
Because they dissed me,
And cut your trust too deep.
To have and to hold my mother once more,
to feel her warmth as I did before.
Her nurturing embrace and sheltering grasp—
We are the children within us—grown, but still innocent,in need of maternal care when our world is muddled
