Tall palm trees shimmy in the soft breeze,  Standing tall like soilders, Guarding the colossal college walls. Daunting yet appealing waves wash over me,  As my bold reflection stares back at me,
I try to speak but am never heard Success as fleeting as the summer birds Expectations ruined and I broken Forgetting the promises once spoken
Sometimes I wonder If I ever was a kid. I'm no Benjamin Button, sure And I've not toiled like so many others had to But I've had my own struggles, too. Sometimes I wonder
