A bit of a mystery, so it seems
After a bit of growing up you think there’s nothing to redeem
On the outside looking in, it may appear that we have it all together
Frail bodyTiny bonesFleshlessIs ultimate.
Start small,Skip lunches2 meals a dayIs enough.
Self controlBreakfast uselessIf dinnerIs inevitable.
I used to wake up next to you,
But now my concrete eyes struggle with your absence.
All that’s left is empty space,
