'night'

i just wanna lay down next to you
and feel your weight in my arms
i just wanna look into your eyes
and sense getting lost forever
i just wanna kiss your lips
and feel the soft pink of flesh
Oh how beautiful the sky is tonight.
How marvelous it is with it's soft light!
The stars are poking out of the inky blackness
And I wonder just how far from me they rest.
The moon, so full and round,
In the bliss of night
The wind whispers in my ear
Swaying and swifting all the flowers near
Gleaming up above
The sky's dark canvas
a speckle of moon bright
seen together and tide
I bring about the darkness
that you see as the end
you go to bed and shield your eyes
from pains you put me in
I bring about the darkness
the one that sends you off
When our people die,
they become stars of the night.
Igniting the obsidian sea,
a veil of heavenly light.
For people like I,
with godly ichor in our veins,
cursed never to die,
Growth,
Not of the limbs
But of the soul
Of the mind
Of the heart
Yes, the world can be cold
But that is when one should be bold
the snow fell onto the earth without time
as the moon blossomed in the July sky.
who knew eyes allowed love to be a crime,
and for the gray clouds to silently cry.
We escaped our mundane lives and embraced the night.
Where the sky is dyed in purples and blues and black
Stars prick the sky in their countless light
We escaped our mundane lives and embraced the night.
Where the sky is dyed in purples and blues and black
Stars prick the sky in their countless light
Howl with me until the moon dips below the horizon
Run with me while the rest of the world sleeps
Watch with me while the stars dance in the sky
Stay with me until the sun begins to rise
