Dangling in front of the treadmill
Like the meal
I was reluctant to eat
Could've saved that dollar for yet another bill
Like rats
They just keep coming
Why do you elude me?
I wait for you to come!
My ears are pounding like
The beating of a drum
I want my mind to stop
These thoughts: oh the sum!
I want to be at rest,
Asleep, till morning comes
