One shot one bang,
don't you know that's all it takes,
it pierces through the skin and flesh,
all the life fades away,
and it kills,
all the dreams and goals,
All the kids who died,
for their wounded friends and safety at risk they cried,
the future that they were deprived,
all the times the shooter said he or she was fine they really lied,
Yes, you do have the right to keep and bear arms.
Yes, it is an outdated amendment by two hundred and thirty years.
And yes, it needs to be updated because of all the lethal harms.
The thing is when a gun is fired it’s bullets always hit something. They never miss their intended mark even if the shooter didn’t intend it.
For the victims,
I’m sorry.
I’m sorry because your country has failed you,
as it has failed countless others before you,
and unless we make changes
It was an ordinary day and it turned into an actual nightmare.
It all started with one man and he caused another horrible tragedy.
