There’s a ringing in her from stretch to stint, bringing on a certainty that made her sweat rigid. Not in for the drive of your life, spare her first precious years.
  A Poem for the Man on the Platform   “Men love a woman in a dress.”    I recoil as if struck, 
In the world of a cultural salad, I am not American nor Guatemalan I do not engage in my family's culture I do not speak perfect Spanish yet I learned it first I do not resemble that of my family 
Broken bones And a broken heart Blued skin And waterfall tears Fixed By flowers of false love
