I met you two years ago, but I never knew your name.   I was a waitress at a food kitchen when I first met you. I instantly saw your pain.   You looked no older than twenty, but you had wrinkles like an old man.
The struggle to wake up and take that first blink in the morning Unable to get up your tossing and turning   Finally the smell of breakfast grabs your attention
Who is envy?   Is she the green eyed monster of legend or the modern princess, glittering in jewels?   Does she have a smile like cotton candy
Yesterday, your eyes were green.   They were a subtle green, the color of a springtime meadow at dawn. They were the color of hope; the color of trying again.
