She called herself blue but he named her red Her heart was bright but he couldn't have that so he twisted every word she said Her body was his canvas and his hands the brush He painted her in brilliant purples and blues
The hand on my cheek should be gentleNot rough. The look in your eyes should be cordialNot forbidding. The words you speak should be filled with loveNot anger.
Because I love me I fight for the love I deserve   Because I love you I tell you but not with words   Because you love me You force me to see who I am and who I can be
