do you let the words fill your mouth like riverwater

do the gates open and does the flood crash in
and when a boy dreams of a marriage
Roughneck cowboys
speed-infected bullies
on the road
blind to posted speed
tailgating speed-limit drivers
basket weaving
traffic lanes.
These type-A drivers
play beat the clock
