There's light at the end of  the tunnel, yet the walk through the tunnel to reach the light is getting more further away, more darker, and more trecherous to walk through, and I can't help but
The goalpost is just a kick away But I can't work my crippling legs The walk seems close enough Yet so far, With all the opponents blocking   I fall and I trip Fall and I trip again
I waltz around the corner,  Hoping, but dreading, for something,  someone, to lift me from this ground as I reach the depths of the sun. Everything seems so close yet so far,
Failure is a creature of the darkness, But I can see it clear as day. A monstrous entity of terror, Feeding off the smallest of insecurities. Its grasp is ever tightening,
Where is the ability to smile? Wondering the earth forever, Kissing the soil that brings life. Who can bring me happiness? Holding on until it hurts, closing my eyes to rest,
