How I wish to be free
From your entanglement
But your vines of thick blue yarn
Grab at my wrists
Clasping at my throat
They grow heavier on my shoulders
Leaving marks of Blue
In places unwanted
A sleeping beauty,
resting oh so peacefully,
rosy red lips,
long lash tips,
a darling doll,
out like a light,
with this in her drink,
there will be no fight.
After the fact,
The day he left was the day it all started
That day I decided to tread into waters uncharted.
I acknowledged how fun it was to be a sight that men drool to see
