Clouds looming on ominous horizon.
The sun hides in fear as the storm nears fast.
Silver linings fade slowly, one by one,
the sight begets fear and ensures it last.

.
Beyond the melting snow, I flee to stand
atop the rock, somehow seeking a balm.
Without a thought, still hope, a cause or plan,
I venture out each day, alone for calm.
When I was younger than today, my wit
Dear my one and only,
Nothing will ever change my love.
Although I won’t deny my fears.
Behind the ivy leaves is where I again find
A small door. I crawl through on my second trial-
I thought this was all in my puzzled mind
Until I see the Chesire Cat's familiar smile.
It was bestowed by teachers and speakers
A gift that highlights this reality
Bringing universal air to readers
All listeners can hear life’s fallacy
This gift is my liaison to masses
If you dare, come to the dream-seller's store
It's filled with inspiration, gold and hope
She'll sell you a good future, maybe more
Tied up with string or silver chains or rope.
Raindrops fall quick on the lonely petalsWith the heavens clouded in its dull gloomMeanwhile on the oven, the warm kettlesHelpless to the fearful, coming, dark doomBasking in the colors red and yellow
Meaning to my existence flees from me
Must I decide from various notions
When decisions are my own cup of tea
Based on preference, not by promotions
Beautiful skin paired with lovely hair;
Shes the principle of perfection, yet
Will she see the beauty with skin so fair?
She looks for meaning in a cigarette
While running from voices inside her head.
The eyes he holds you with, your red lipstick,
Nicotine fingers draped summer's leather
The rain found structure the candle's flame flicks.
Stepping in wet paint; your drippy leasure.
Fare thee well, my heart, which I have sundered
Ripped from my own chest, ne'er to pain again
Oh how it agonized and it thundered
When thou left my side and thus followed: rain.
