It is my career goal to inspire and challenge young minds through education. I plan on becoming a Secondary Biology Teacher, and through my passion for the Life Sciences, respect for the differences amongst us, and recognition of the gift of intellectual potential that lies within us all, I wish to humbly lead by example and empower teenagers with information that will help them to become proactive participants in their world, hopefully allowing them to live in better harmony with each other and the environment. Making a difference, one student at a time, is my future goal as an educator and leader! I am also passionate about running. I am intrigued with the biomechanics of running and the nutritional and psychological aspects of the sport as they relate to enhanced performance and injury prevention. Having participated in high school and college XC and Track, I wish to add coaching to my future job title as well.
