I am a retired high school and college professor. The last 10 years of my teaching was as a college professor of literature and writing. I have self-published one book of prayers and meditations and am preparing another book of poetic odes to faith and love.
I am truly honored to be welcomed into this group.
I wrote his short prayer in 2019 as a part of my book Prayers and Meditations through the Holy Spirit.
Allow me
Allow me to give my gifts...
I do not know
what the future will bring.
I cannot worry
of what comes next.
No need to fret
about these insignificant worries.
No need to...
I do not know
what the future will bring.
I cannot worry
of what comes next.
No need to fret
about these insignificant worries.
No need to...
Love the Earth;
water it;
enrich it!
Its kinship
invites us all. . .
. . . to love.
I am the least -
of these.
Love enriches!
Begin life as caterpillars
a beautiful gift, but short-lived -
build a chrysalis to die and rise again.
Beautiful gifts from God -
flitting...
