I am from Darkness,
Always blocking my view of the sun.
I am from the cold, crisp air of the fall,
And the smell of snow that I know too...
Wooden tables
Masterfully carved
With constant wearing

Velvet blossoms
Stems fall deeply
With a vase caressing

Every week the grass grows too long.
Blades of grey that sli-
ce the air
But softly touch
We worry however
That our toes
Sink
Too
Far.

One day someone will rescue me
from this tower that I sit,
cut off from the world.
