Birth of Dawn
look down,
breath's thick in your mouth,
drifting out like dragonsmoke.
the grass beneith your feet,
damp with the crisp...
All is written for the world to know;
whether or not they read it.
Like a candle or torchlight,
with unceasing glow;
one only need...
an army of elvises
dressed up in leather
they all swager and grin
they hoist their guitars
and sing the blues
the world has never been...
A lost memory
a deep sleep
full of sirens' song
but what it spoke of,
none can recall.
sigh, and shake your head
brush away the dusk...
Not everyone gets long to live
and no one lives forever
Today's average is 70 years,
i believe.
and 70 isn't long
In the bible people...
