Poems from juleswrites
All my life I never thought I had a heart
Or a soul
Or a reason to be alive
I saw life as just a passing moment
Living every day just to...
Built-up walls, you found little holes
You fill each of my different souls
Making my shoes runnable
Never saw me as loveable
Till you slide...
A tender feeling, a place to remember
Plenty of nescient people nearby
Small local shops owned by families of eight
Indistinguishable back...
Calm air, cold breeze
Warm hands, new jeans
A child’s laugh echos in the herd
Flashback all in a blur
Back when I was her
Keeping me safe...
