As soon as something goes right,
Something goes wrong.
I can't catch a break,
The world's just too strong.
I try to behave,
I do the best...
A place where Fear abounds,
I'm held captive on the ground.
Can't spread my wings and fly,
I can't soar amidst the sky.
My wings are held...
It reaches those around me
Yet on me it doesn't shine,
I crave the warmth within it
I want it to be mine.
At times I feel his goodness...
