My mother told me she no longer trusts me
But little does she know
Neither do I
When I am with you
On the couch
Under a blanket
Even my demons
Feel like they can breathe again
The moon hangs
A little lower
Since you left me
I look up and see the whole world above me
I see the people walking
I see my friends laughing
I’m so far under everyone
And it’s so lonely...
I remember swallowing a whole bottle of ibuprofen
Hoping it would stop the pain of my aching heart
I remember sobbing on my bedroom floor...
