Most days I'm scared
To start a conversation with you
But just because I don't
Doesn't mean I'm not dying to speak

Normally I am a very social person
I love talking, somtimes too much
But when I see you?
My brain forgets how to mend vowels together

My throat rips raw
But no sound escapes
My lungs are closing in
Collapsing like a delicate house of cards
