I am a poet, lyricist, and novelist. I was born Steven Elliott Shinder on November 6, 1994 in Ventura, California. I started living in San Diego in 2001. In April 2011, I went through the Catholic sacrament of confirmation and chose the saint name Caedmon. Since September 2014, I have been attending UC Irvine as an English major with an emphasis in creative writing. I My favorite writers include John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, Clive Staples Lewis, Joanne Kathleen Rowling, Oscar Wilde, Isaac Asimov, Richard Matheson, and Thomas Harris. I aspire to become a writer of fantasy novels. The "real world" may not feel like it needs creative people, but I still continue to write what I believe is real. Nobody can ever take away your creativity.
