Poems from Noremak843
Chicago kid born and raised. Words might as well be pouring from my veins and smiles from my pores. I like finding the extraordinary in the ordinary and making it last forever.
As the music of the corner saunters in the atmosphere
Old men talk up young girls in the hope of alleviating the pain
That daddy issues...
Our fingers graze each other's palms
Hearts beating with anticipation
Of our bodies coming together like stars
And making...
Churches on every street, Disciples on every cornerUsed needles and blue baggies litter the streets like dirty snow and rain water
Back in...
We Chit and chatter
About Scars and tatters
While the clicks of
Triggers and hammers
Decorate the air
Filling the room with talk
Of...
I drag my feet
Scarlet drops still dot my clothes
Dirt cakes my fingernails
Weariness paints my face
Tiredness projects from my eyes...
