Hello, my name is Meghan Espinoza and I am currently a senior at Antioch High School. I was born and raised in Antioch, California to two immigrant parent's from Mexico. I'm certainly no poet, but I'm extremely dedicated to my dreams of being a director. I was always very shy and a little bullied in school. My mental health suffered and I had a single mom who was struggling to provide for us. It took everything in us to keep going. My heart is set on getting my BFA and I'm looking forward to furthering my education.This means a lot to me because no one else in my family has ever had the chance to go to a four year university. I'm excited to go to college because I feel it'll be the beginning of the rest of my life.
