Poems from JoeyTrapani
Dear Life,
You've left me broken, battered, shrouded
by scorn,
Yet you've kept my heart going so I
Musn't mourn.
There are worse things...
A little bundle of love
All wrapped in a big ball
Being held so tight and close
Sitting near the heart of mothers
And begging protection...
Going by a different name which none associate
Lost unto translation; a myth you shall never be.
In the springtime, you show out always...
Shining so pretty I see you within;
Many believe you’re just rain,
But I say they’re thoughts are insane,
But man’s stupidity it has no end...
A bulb representing an idea;
The only light in a dark room.
Beautiful to those longing,
Treasure to the living,
But worthless to the dead...
