Poems from Halle Siegel

Halle Siegel's picture
I am from a small town in Cleveland Ohio. I am a freshman at Ohio University and am double majoring in Communications and Commercial Photography at the E.W. Scripps School of Communication with a specialized study in english or creative writing. My words and stories are planted with the hopes that thoughts can either blossom or wither depending on who is willing to care. Please care for my words, they are all reflections of my budding thoughts. I believe in patience. I believe in love. But mostly, I believe in the power of words–unspoken and smeared on paper.
Some days I wish That somebody could have told me That the rain can sometimes feel better than the sun beneath the sky I deserved to know...
You once told me To never fear the judgment of whispers And that neglect is a special kind of venom That leaves a special kind of bruise...
Go on Tell me something you have never said Say it out loud You have been thinking it I can see it in your eyes   Too afraid to say it...
