I'm currently looking for funding opportunities that would enable me to attend the Unmanned Systems Business Expo in September and the Small Unmanned Systems Business Expo in April. If you happen to know of any, please don't hesitate to reach out! Hey there! I’m a 16 year old high school student, a systems engineer, and an advocate for project-based learning; I'm pretty sure caffeine runs in my veins at this point. Need some research done, or looking for an intern? Feel free to drop me a line here or on LinkedIn! I'm a 2014 Grace Hopper Celebration Scholar, and will be presenting a poster on my unmanned systems research while there; if you'll be attending GHC in the fall, I would love to chat with you! I spend a large chunk of my time developing airplanes as a competitor in the Real World Design Challenge. I'm currently the team lead for the CCA Innovators (national rank: 2) where I dabble in research, systems engineering, documentation, and aircraft design. I'm developing sUAS for applications in precision agriculture, and working as a summer intern for a spin-off company of Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute, Near Earth Autonomy, developing autonomous cargo delivery systems for the Navy, among other projects. I’m working to make technical fields more accessible through a number of initiatives, including my longtime involvement as an editor of Wikipedia. I co-founded Magikstra—a technology start-up striving to help high school students connect with mentors—and currently serve as the COO. I also recently joined the executive team on the largest computer science competition for middle school girls in the nation, ProjectCSGIRLS, and am an Online Community Manager for The Scientista Foundation.
