Location

Whene’er the lustrous moon and stars appear

My tiny world is filled with truth and bliss.

The nighttime and the dark I do not fear

For here is where I ponder life amiss.

Here all my sibling’s bickering subsides.

Here I finally think straight on my own.

When I’m alone, no one can tell me lies.

In the dark the world is better unknown.

At night no one can judge you or your weight-

Your posture, bad jokes, or your countenance.

But what I love the most about the night

Is that I’m not required to wear pants.

It four a.m. again and I can’t sleep.

One hour to go before my clock will beep.
