The sea roar around me

Falling and rising from the angry sea

No way to calm it

To cause it to just sit

To tell the truth I feel safer in these waves

Like I’m tucked away in a inconspicuous cave

Alone with just you

Just me and you, so few

Because once the waves stop

I begin on myself like a cop

You’re pathetic

Maybe I’m just being melodramtic

He doesn’t want you

Why don’t you get the cue

What an imagination

You better remember the occasion

He broke you

Your heart is in so many pieces, so few

Why do you keep going back

As if he’s the one piece you lack

Get over it

Cause your restless heart to sit

Cause it to run away from him

From all of them

Because it only causes more hurt

So they can walk over you like Astroturf

I’m not sure if I can do better

So I’ll just write it all down in this letter

Then run back into the roaring sea

I’ll pay the costly fee

Allowing the ear spliting sound of the waves to wash over me

To run right over me

Because it is better nature

Because when it’s you it’s torture
