is a powerful tool 

that needs to fix problems with modern society

the cruel behaviors of young people

a conference was held

a platform was set

to give me the mic 

and move the crowd

i spoke about who i was as a man

and a poet

the crowd was silence

wandering what anticipation will happen next

as i spoke about my days of being broke

to tragedies and tail spins

as 2pac once said we are all appreciated

they were moved

dazzled with joy

they understood my strength

my bond , my connection , my love

we became as one

other young people recited their poem

all i need to say

young people came up to me and ask for copies of my poem

and sign an autograph

i felt like a superstar

i am a superstar

i was humbled and honored

i impacted lives of those young people

i know i did something right
