You're Wrong

Location

"Excuse me, but that's wrong."

She screams it in her head, the inaccuracy

taunting her on the white board.

The teacher moves on to a new problem, but she is still

fixated.

The mistake laughs at her cowardice.

She musters her courage,

she must speak out.

"Excuse me, but that's wrong."

The children laugh,

the teacher screams.

The chastised student

lays her head down in shame

as the error ridicules her.
