You're Not Good Enough
All you're life,
"You're not good enough."
You're beat
and you're broken,
with words left unspoken.
You're not smart, you're not cool.
Why do you try in school?
They tear at your soul
without a second thought.
They break your spirit,
tear it to pieces.
On the floor you beg,
please stop, no more.
Your heart out, they tore.
All you're life
you hide bruises.
Avoiding questions and compassion.
Inside you're screaming for help.
"See me, help me.
I'm so scared."
You're so unprepared.
On the floor crying,
not this again.
How can you break me.
You're tired of fighting,
you almost let go
and forfeit your soul.
All you're life,
the same of story
of broken glory.
There you are on the floor,
and you scream, "NO MORE!"
Sirens are blaring,
and people are staring.
It was not easy,
and it'll still be hard
but you made yourself tough.
You're good enough.
