YOUR ICE IN SUMMER

Fri, 04/10/2020 - 11:56 -- Kin

The stars looked down on me
As the heat of the air kissed my cheeks
Your eyes apprised a dreary story
They were clear, they were deep - those beautiful black discs
I felt a sweat roll down my chests
But a shiver run down my spine
Electric ignition? Or.. d-did you just held my hand..
I'm getting nervous, getting tensed, I am troubled - all at the same time.
The moonbeams portrayed your silhouette perfectly
Noise from the streets are like smashing waves from the sea
And those little stars that looked down upon me
Shone bright to your lips as you utter the words, "I'm sorry"
