You thought

I never thought it would've

come to this.

Helping hands can cut ties to,

You’ve burned every bridge,

Now you're playing victim?

You set yourself up,

You tied up all hope

And throw it over,

Now you can’t pull

Yourself together.

I’m not the bad guy

It’s not my fault,

You thought the grass

was greener on the other side.

I lost myself,

trying to find you,

If I could forget

It all, I would.

I will not keep my feet in the past,

There’s no point

In dwelling,

When I can see a life ahead.

I’ll continue to be the

One that haunts you.

Watch from afar,

build a foundation,

We never could.

I'm no longer a prisoner

In my own home.

I’m not the bad guy

It’s not my fault,

You thought the grass

was greener,

On the other side.

Can’t take it back now.

Tho. I bet you wish you could.

Seeing me happy,

When you never

thought I would.

Living without you

Was the best step

I ever took

I’m not the bad guy

It’s all your fault,

You thought the grass

Greener on the other side.
