You shouldn't have

It's strange-
Meeting you here.
Your face frozen like a peaceful slumber-
And yet I'm still madly in love with you;
Your coffin-I envy- holds your small frame.

But I hold something much more stunning and real-
They sit in a box in my pocket.
I take them out time-to-time...
I must be careful however so as not to pierce them.

The still gleaming- grey eyes-
You stumbled into something you shouldn't have-
I had to get rid of you, and how it broke my heart.
I love you, but I wish you hadn't followed me.
Maybe then you'd still be here to taste the killer feast I made us to celebrate five years.

You should't have seen what you saw-
You shouldn't have let out that scream when you felt my hands around your throat-

Darling you really shouldn't have.

You shouldn't have introduced yourself, maybe then it wouldn't be your dull blue eyes in my pocket and the taste of your bloodstained lips on mine.
Dear friend you shouldn't have-
Now the cycle begins again, and it won't stop with you dear one-

You really should't have left the door unlocked.
