"As you set out for Ithaka hope your journey is a long one,"

I travelled along the land

Of Ithaka

And I had hoped and I had

Prayed

That the journey may be a

Long one

And in some instances, Ithaka

Was short

Beating me with a disciplined

Rod

And in other instances, Ithaka

Was long

Petting and leading me with a

Assuring staff

But all in all, as I travelled along

Ithaka,

I hoped the journey was a long

One,

And when I thought I had reached

Ithaka

It turned out that I had a long way

To go,

So I rode a boat, hoping my ol' pal

Cyclops

Would grant me mercy, as I prayed to God

I wouldn't be eaten
