You Don't Want to Know

Mon, 11/07/2022 - 15:54 -- Jaynu

Abudant curiosity

curiously, it's not a trend

All the info diversity

but our opinions don't bend.

Our opinions, like an iron rod

Our opinions, an all important god

Objective information at every fingertip

Subjective information, commonship

why? why the intentional censor

censor your mind, censor your sensor

it's not what I thought

so out of mind, out of sight, out of thought?

Objective is useless, unwanted

Subjective is comforting, wanted

Objective is a cold, firm

Subjective is warm, it reafirms

It's a pleasure to burn

why? Why do we like to burn?

Why do we see ourselves as right

the objective viewpoint the night

cold, dark, without light.

Our views, warming, shining, a knight.

We can't accept we can't be right.

We can't accept, we have to fight.

Why don't we want to know?

we can't accept what we don't already know.

Why are we more often right?

we call what we don't know un-right.

Curiosity, curiously a lie.
