You Are Never Too Young To die

You see a young person who’s at the end of his life

You ask why

But you already know that you are never too young to die

So then I ask you

How would you spend those last days?

The time when you reach the end of the maze

How would you spend that last breath of air?

By spending it in the trench of despair?

How would you spend that last breath of air?

By hating others, thinking how life is unfair?

How would you spend that last breath of air?

By shrugging it off and pretending like you don’t care?

I ask you that question for you to answer yourself

The meaning of life is not found in any book or on any shelf

It’s something you have to see on your own view

By surviving all the challenges you had to go through

How would you spend those last days on earth?

By abusing yourself and diminishing your self worth?

How would you spend those last hours?

By hiding behind drugs or alcohol like a coward?

By going through your life and try make things better?

By writing your dearest ones a sincere, emotional letter?

Death strikes even when you are young

So don’t worry about the inevitable and just have fun

Over little things you shouldn’t worry

Death comes early

You’ll never know if you’ll even make it to thirty

Use each day because it is a grace

Don’t make it a waste

Don’t listen to your friends because they’re all fake

Try to right wrongs with your enemies and fix your mistakes

Live your life with no regrets

Don’t go out gambling and leaving debts

Live a life that’s rich and full

Yet you are a fool if you expect it to be wonderful

And when they break the news to you, try not to cry

Because you already know, you are never too young to die
