Those eyes have seen this world from a view I’ll never know

I will try my best to understand but forgive me if I’m wrong.

Tears may fall upon the grass as memories take a hold

But I will hold you until the sorrow is gone.

People have their struggles and a past few will know

But they do the best they can and sometimes they get lost

We expect the world to move within a certain frame

But our lives have lived under a different name.

I will strive to understand you to release you from this pain

For no one should have to suffer and hide their tears in rain.

I will help you see the sunrise exists even with the clouds

And though this world seems bleak at the moment

There is always hope somewhere to be found.

Love will guide us as we open the floodgates in our heart

Dislodge the past and let the future come to be

Live in but this moment for it is all that truly is

We seek to change the past and find the future, but now is here to see.

As the days begin to shine again it will become apparent that nothing is eternal

For everything that is and was will surely come and go.

Though we seek life as though it is external it is internal where we grow

For life is existent in moments where our minds exist in flow.

Feel the breeze as it kisses softly on the cheek

Or when the birds sing you their song

You will feel the life that’s been living

The beauty that has enveloped you all along.

The stars will shine like diamonds forming constellations up high

As the universe sees you and smiles upon your grace

The life we hoped for way up in the sky

Is existent in the smile upon your face.

We all walk this world together a family of people

A stranger is but a friend we’ve yet to meet

Our hearts a refuge in a temple.

Surely in my heart I will greet

My brothers and sisters as we meet.

Your sadness may hold tightly and its feels as though it will never leave

We must always remember it is our minds that do deceive

For our life has faced many battles and yet here we are to breathe

And surely in passing this moment will leave.

For in you lies something that only you can ever hold

A beauty that is eternal and unique to you forever and a day

Something worth more than any amount of gold
